Wahab has kindly consented to deliver lectures once per month to brothers and sisters at Masjid Abu Ubaidah. The
Masjid is making and effort to educate members on various aspects of Islam.

Trained teacher;
Graduate of University of Madinah, Saudi Arabia
Experience: Dawah worker in Guyana (1980-2000); worked with CIOG, MYOG,GIT; IIFSO, WAMY, Rabita, Caribbean Muslim
Organizationsconducted classes and training programs in Suriname, Guyana, Trinidad and other Caribbean Islands.
Language: English, Arabic, and Several African dialects.
Employment: Curriculum Coordinator of Islamic Studies at Al Noor School, Brooklyn, NY

The first lecture was on Saturday,
January 12th, 2008, which was very well attended, and well received. This was followed by a question and answer
session, where Brother Wahab was so impressive, the sisters demanded that he come back and prepare an ongoing education
series for them. Brother Wahab has kindly promised to continue his lectures at Masjid Abu Ubaidah
on a monthly basis.

During the
month of Ramadan the attendance was very good, and many brothers and sisters provided daily iftar. May Allah (SWT) reward
